This week testing has been carried out at the VINCI Technology Centre in Bedfordshire in the UK on our Flushglaze product range.

Test methods were carried out according to US ASTM Standards, and the results, along with engineering information, were used to create our ICC-EC Report (International Code Council Evaluation Service). This document presents the findings, conclusions, and recommendations from a particular evaluation and verifies that new and innovative building products comply with code requirements.

Once we have gained this, we will have what LADBS (Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety) needs to make our Flushglaze product range compliant for use within Los Angeles.

VINCI Technology Centre combines world-leading laboratory testing with expertise in sustainability and a complete understanding of structures. Its multidisciplinary team provides practical and innovative solutions to the challenges posed by today’s built environment, heritage structures, and legacy issues.

This particular testing involved:

  • Uniform load tests to meet AAMA A440
  • Air permeability ASTM E283
  • Watertightness ASTM E331 and E547
  • Wind resistance ASTM E330
